For caregivers, this also includes background check information processed through our third-party partner, Checkr. We also collect payment information through Stripe, our payment processor.

We use your information to: provide and maintain our platform; match families with caregivers based on location and preferences; process background checks for caregivers; process payments and payouts; communicate with you about bookings, account updates, and platform changes; improve our services and user experience.
3. Information Sharing
We share your information only as necessary to operate the platform: with other users to facilitate bookings (e.g., your name and profile are visible to potential matches); with Stripe for payment processing; with Checkr for background check processing; and with service providers who assist us in operating our platform. We never sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication via Supabase Auth, and Row Level Security policies on our database. Payment information is handled exclusively by Stripe and never stored on our servers.

LDS Sitters is designed for adults (parents and caregivers aged 18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
